This paddle combines alot of the best features found in the other lines of Onix paddles. The Evoke XL Composite Pickleball Paddle by Onix Sports combines the classic pickleball design with a new-age polymer core that makes it one of the quietest paddles in the pickleball playing realm. The slim edge guard overlaps less of the face than other Onix paddles, which helps reduce the number of balls hitting the protective rim. The paddle breaks tradition with a red colored edge guard. The glossy fiberglass face has a nice polished look to it and delivers a nice "pop" sound. This paddle has the well known traditional swirling Onix logo, layered with the word "Evoke” and a striped border around the edge of the paddle. This paddle definitely looks good on the courts and plays among the best.As far as the product dimensions go, the Evoke XL paddle measures 15-3/4” from top to bottom, of which 5” is taken up by the handle. This results in a good-sized face length, which is made even larger by its width of 7-3/4”. The large grip of 4-1/2” pleases those with bigger hands or players who prefer a more cushioned handle. This paddle weighs 7.5 to 7.9 ounces, which is the ideal weight for many players around the world.
