Ball Retriever And Dispenser
BRAD is an entirely new way to pick up tennis balls.
As a Teaching Pro for over 30 years I constantly had requests from my students to get a ball mower but I wasn't willing to dish out over $500 for what was available at the time!
I also didn't like the size of the current machines, at my club I had little space between courts as well as court benches so going from one side of the court to the other would have required folding the arms and removing the basket just to get to the other side of the court, in the end it would have take longer to pick up than just using hoppers.
I knew there had to be a better way so several years ago I took it upon myself to come up with a better way to pick up tennis balls.
In designing BRAD my goal was to come up with the simplest easiest way to pick up tennis balls.
My first thought was to simply shovel the balls and dump them into the teaching cart, what you see here, after several years of testing and modifying is the end result. BRAD is the fastest most fun way to pick up tennis balls, you can fill a 100 ball hopper in under a minute!BRAD is the only machine that actually picks up the balls in the collection area between the arms, once they are in that area they are picked up, no rotating wheels that require you to keep moving forward until all the balls have been gathered by the drum and dispensed into the collection tray. BRAD is the only machine that allows you to move any direction, even backwards without losing any balls from the collection area. BRAD is the only machine that uses a standard ball hopper, eliminating the large awkward shaped trays that are difficult to lift and even harder to empty into your teaching cart.
