Wilson Ncode N3 Oversize Widebody Tennis Racquet
4 3/8 grip. 113 square inches. 27.5 inches long. The Beam is about 30mm. 16x19. 9.55 ounces strung with dampener, with a head heavy balance for power. 8.8 ounces unstrung. Tight Wilson NXT Power 18 strings. Wilson Micro Dry Comfort grip in good condition. The racquet looks great with no cracks and only a few nicks to the paint around the center of the rim on one side. The bumper guard is in good condition with only light scratches. This Ncode N3 was a new model around 11 years ago and is still sought after. I found the following review: Review by Plumdogger
March, 11 2005 Pros: Power AND comfort! Appeals to many playing typesCons: At $260 it is a bit on the expensive side. The Wilson nCode n3 racquet is the perfect combination of Wilson's best two technologies in recent years, nCode and Triad. The nCode technology is Wilson's newest and it can best be described this way... at the microscopic level they inject silicone oxide crystals into the spaces between braided graphite fibers. Wilson claims that this process makes the racquet 2 times more stable, 2 times stronger, and 22% more powerful. The Triad technology is about 4 years old, but it still works with todays frames. Triad technology separates the head of the racquet from the grip of the racquet with isozorb (pretty much what they make insoles out of). This isozorb absorbs up to 60% of the vibration created when you hit the ball. In short you no longer have to sacrifice power for comfort anymore. The racquet also has nZone technology for a more powerful catapult effect when you hit the ball. If you are familiar with Wilson's old Power Holes technology, this is the next generation of that.
