Men's Vintage NIKE WIMBLEDON Sneakers

This auction
is for a pair of never-worn men's NIKE Wimbledon sneakers, size 10 1/2. My husband cannot remember exactly when he
bought them, but estimates mid-to-late '80's. The sticker from Philadelphia's
John Wanamaker department store is still on the box, and they went out of
business years ago.
They have never been worn, and are still in
their original box. The Wimbledon
sticker is still inside both shoes. They
are in excellent condition, the only issue I see (a very small one) is that the
laces have yellowed slightly with age.
There are no cracks in the leather, which remains supple. The shoes are white, with green and purple
accents, and are lined in a very plush purple fabric. The soles are green.
These shoes
run somewhat narrow, so please check a pair of shoes that fit you well against
the measurements below to make sure they will work for you:
Measurement
across widest area (ball of foot)--exactly 4 inches
Measurement
across heel---2 3/4 inches
Measurement
from heel to toe---Just shy of 12 inches
All of the
above measurements were taken on the outside sole of the shoe, so the fit
inside will run slightly more narrow. If
you have very wide feet, these will not work for you.
