Wilson Ultra PWS Std Tennis Racket 4 1/2"
NEW STRINGS / Very Good condition
For auction is a Wilson Ultra PWS Std tennis racket with new strings in very good condition. Originally made in 1980 with a MSRP $200. Andrea Jaeger used a Wilson Ultra early in her career. 4 1/2" AWU679
On Racket- NEW STRINGS. Bumperless top and sides have light scrapes and scratches. Slight crack in polycarbonate/polyethylene yoke. See pics. Overall in very good condition. 4 1/2" grip size. New Gamma synthetic gut strings. Fairway by Balmforth England in fair condition, probably will clean up. Black grip cap so probably made in River Grove, Illinois (Chicago)
Features- Perimeter Weighting System (PWS) — Extra weight placed at 3 and 9 o’clock for increased torsional stability. I'm pretty sure this was the first racket to use PWS in the form of four tungsten weights placed at 3 and 9 o'clock positions.
