English Wilson Flat Top Solder Spot unopened Tennis Can from the 1950's This listing features one unopened, 1950's, Wilson "Match-Point" Keywind Tennis Ball Can, with the original key still attached (see photos).   This can is in pretty good overall condition with nice red, yellow, and black graphics.  This English-made can has a "flat top" and the key is still attached to the top of the can.   This can is also known as a "solder spot" can because on the bottom of the can (see photos) you will see a small spot of solder used to seal the can and maintain the pressure inside.   The English can is taller than the American made can and the yellow graphics are more of a "mustard" color, than bright yellow.  Below the "Wilson" name at the bottom front of the English can it reads "Made in England."   This can makes a great display item and a unique addition to any vintage tennis collection that wants to give a nod to Wimbledon and England's rich tennis history. FYI: The American made can has a "domed top" and the key is attached to the bottom of the can. Below the "Wilson" name at the bottom front of the can it would read"Made in U.S.A." Perfect for the tennis player that already has everything!  And for Andy Murray fans!!!
