Beautiful Racket: Vintage Wood 1910 Horsman “Cleveland” New York Tennis Racket Unusual Maker CLASSIC Antique nice old early wood wooden racquet with excellent crisp decal NOTE: Part of a group of rackets I just found. I will list one racket a day between August 4 and August 13. Will combine items for reduced postage for multiple purchases. Ebay Global Shipping Program available for international buyers. MODEL: 1910 Horsman CLEVELAND HEAD: Classic period oval; Stock is square at the shoulders and all the way around the head WARPING: none FRAME: excellent condition; much less than expected wear to the top of the head THROAT WEDGE: convex 5-piece wedge that was patented in 1905 STRINGS: as shown: look like original lamb gut. BANDING: none; racket pre-dates banding material DECALS: As shown; EXCELLENT condition for the famous Horsman centaur decal GRIP: a large 5 inches; pre-dates grip material; narrow groove3 in the handle STAMPS: 14 oz. at the top of the grip WEIGHT: weighs 14.8 ounces actual weight END CAP: leather strip with minor losses; end cap as shown Postage will be based on 3.5 pounds of packed weight.
