◄█ About as rare as they come - the original "Prince Graphite" (POG) tennis racquet. This particular racquet was a DEMO (die-stamped on both sides of the stabilizer bar in the throat). It features a teardrop-shaped head with grommetless design, no bumper/nose guard, and single green stripe over shiny black paint. The most important feature (if you want to be sure you are getting the original), is the sticker on the throat which recommends a stringing tension of 72-80 lbs (later reduced). As other "Graphite" racquets were offered by Prince, this line became know as the "Prince Graphite Series". The head size is 110 (but head size was not marked on racquets until later), the string pattern is 16 Mains by 19 Crosses, and this racquet is 27" long. The frame is 100% graphite with a foam handle, leather grip wrap (4-1/2"), and plastic butt cap. This racquet weighs 12.9 Ounces as it sits and the Balance Point (strung) is 12-1/4" (10 points Head-Light). Head cover is not original. Actual item pictured. The frame is in excellent condition with only minor cosmetic/paint wear and several minor rubs through the paint on the nose. The leather grip is excellent but has some minor surface impressions from the fabric overgrip that I removed. The butt cap has some scuffing (12th photo) but is intact. You will NOT be disappointed!
