The frame is made of tubular steel, licensed by Rene Lacoste Jimmy Connors was the most famous player to use it for 18 years. He made it one of the most unforgettable rackets in the history of tennis. Billie Jean King used it also. Production was halted in 1984. Over 2 million were made
