With the Graphene Extreme MP Head has produced a faster swinging update to one of the games great modern player's racquets. For this update Head puts one of the world's lightest and strongest materials, Graphene, in the shaft. This enables weight to be strategically repositioned to more effective locations at the handle and tip. The result is a racquet that explodes through contact, delivering easy access to pace and spin. Also new to this version is a slightly wider hitting zone at 3 and 9 o'clock, a feature that should give topspin players a larger margin of error when whipping this racquet through the strike zone. Comfort remains high with this update thanks to the dampening effect of Head's S-Tech Grommets. From the baseline our TW playtesters found the Extreme MP to be fast, lively and very spin-friendly. At net the Extreme MP feels fast, making it great for reaction volleys and heated doubles exchanges. Serving with this racquet is an exercise in speed, spin and pop. Aggressive servers should have no problem imposing their will with flat bombs or weighty slices. All in all the Graphene update to the Extreme MP looks like a winner.
