New, plastic on handle, Wilson BLX2 Pro Staff 95S tennis racket in a midplus 95 square inch head. The PS 95S weighs 11 ounces unstrung and is 27 inches long. It is balanced at 31 cm. for a 10 pt. head light rating. The BLX2 Pro Staff 95S features Wilson's Spin Effect Technology, Wilson's Amplifeel technology, and a Wilson synthetic perforated grip.
The BLX2 Pro Staff combines the legendary braided graphite feel with Wilson's new BLX technology which incorporates fibers of basalt, a natural volcanic rock, longitudinally into the Karophite Black. According to Wilson, the result is a significant reduction in vibrations in the racquet. The Pro Staff 95S is a double braided graphite construction and includes Kevlar for more power, durability, and a quiet solid feel. Recommended string tension is 54 to 64 lbs on this 16X15 string pattern. With a stiffness of 64(tested on my Babolat RDC), a straight box beam width of 18 mm., a midplus head size of 95, and a weight of 11 ounces; I would recommend this racket for intermediate+ players with medium+ swing lengths and speeds who want to swing aggressively and add tons of spin to the ball without worrying about losing control.
