I have up for sale basically a brand new Babolat Pure Aero Tennis Racket that comes strung with Prince Synthetic Gut strings at 54 lbs, grip 4-5/8. The racket is 100% authentic purchased from a retail store. I will also keep the string dampener and the protective racket head tape on the racket, these can both be easily removed without any problems. The racket head tape was put on immediately after the shop strung the racket to protect it before I even paid for the racket. I purchased this racket just a about a week ago, played with it for only about 15 minutes this weekend and decided it just isn't the racket for me. The racket was too powerful and all my shots were sailing long, I don't hit with alot of spin and this racket is great for people who can control the power with spin. I think I need a more control oriented racket for my game. I contacted the store I bought it from to return it but they wanted to charge me a restocking fee and would not refund the cost of the strings and labor. I was not happy with that so I am selling the racket at a deep discount here. My loss is your gain. Like I said the racket was only purchased about a week ago and used for 15 minutes then put away. I took a real careful look over the entire racket and as you can see from the pictures I cant really point out any blemishes on the racket. I spent around $250 for the racket including stringing and tax. I am selling the racket for only a fraction of that.My loss is your gain. This version is called the Pure Aero and it boasts a more aerodynamic beam along with a higher swingweight. There's also some serious power to be had for those who can swing this stick fast. Armed with FSI Spin Technology the Pure Aero features wider spacing between the crosses for increased ball bite (see big spin). Babolat has also enlarged some of the grommet holes, allowing the strings to absorb more vibration and snap the ball out of the stringbed with extra RPMs (see even bigger spin). Although this update has a speedy 11.3 ounce static weight, it swings a tad heavier than its predecessor from the backcourt. The added heft not only helps keep the racquet steadier through impact, it also produces a lethal combination of pace and spin on full swings. At net the Pure Aero feels solid, accurate and lively, and it has more than enough put-away power for ending points with authority. Babolat has made some impressive tweaks to one of the game's iconic player's racquets. The combination of spin and pop should prove very dangerous in the right hands.
