This racquet that will find favor among 3.0 to 4.5 intermediate level players seeking lightweight feel, solid spin control and the forgiveness of a slightly larger, tear-drop shaped (102) midplus head. The 500G also sports a concave design around the inside of the frame, increasing the length of the main and cross strings. This design increases sweetspot size and helps in the reduction of vibration. The 500G is 27 inches long and weighs 9.8 ounces. The 500G incorporates Dunlops new hotmelt frame construction on a 25 mm beam. The new throat bridge adds additional stiffness for more power and stability. The elastomer kevlar yoke when combined with the 25 mm beam gives exceptional power with a very stable feel. This racket is for the player with moderate to fast stroke speed and length that wants control with a very solid feel. After play testing this racket, it gets my personal recommendation for someone seeking a light feeling racket head and lots of control. As with all the Hotmelt rackets, it has a very solid feel and is very easy on the arm. This racket does come with the Full Racket Case, and vibration absorber pictured The recommended string tension is 55 to 65 lbs in this 16X19 string pattern. I recommend going down 3 lbs on the cross strings to equalize string pressure throughout the string bed. Stringing and string installation is available for purchase.
