It is balanced at 30 cm for a 12 pt head light rating. The BLX Six.One features Wilson's Pro Hybrid grip which has a cotton base that allows a softer feel than leather yet firmer feel than foam and provides excellent moisture absorption. The tackified polyurethane outer cover gives players a high performance feeling grip, and the medium thickness at 1.8mm provides all around racquet control.
The BLX Six.One combines the legendary braided graphite feel with Wilson's new BLX technology which incorporates fibers of basalt, a natural volcanic rock, longitudinally into the Karophite Black. According to Wilson, the result is a significant reduction in vibrations in the racquet. Recommended string tension is 50 to 60 lbs on this 16X18 string pattern where I recommend going down 3 lbs in the cross strings to equalize string pressure throughout the frame. I would recommend this racket for players with fast swing speeds who want to swing aggressively without worrying about losing control. String and String Installation are now available for purchase.
