This racket was one of the rackets that broke the ice on replacing wood as the racket of choice. Arthur Ashe was a celebrated American player and huge star who lent his name to the product. At the time, Head was in it's infancy as a tennis company. Lots of history with this one. Wonderful near mint condition, could not have been used much at all. Does need to be restrung. Comes with original cover, also in excellent condition. Serial #A55018. Made in USA patent pending.
