Second Serve Tennis presents a very cool vintage and collectible racquet by Adidas - the Adistar.  The grip size is 4 1/2, condition is a gem, 9/10 scale, 100% solid structurally with the original mint condition leather grip.  Fiberglass shaft for a flexible playing experience, nice pop on the serve and great control on groundstrokes.  There is a serial number of 4974 on the side of the racquet.  Circa late 1970's when Adidas was making tennis racquets from Europe, this one is MADE IN AUSTRIA.  It's so cool and retro I would almost not want to play it, mount it on a wall or add it to your collection to represent a time in tennis when new materials were quickly replacing the traditional wood racquets which were still primarily used at that time.  I do not have specs on the racquet except it is standard 27 inches in length and weighs about 11 ounces, head size I would guess is about 70 square inches but I could be wrong, looks the same as the Wilson T2000 steel frame.  Shipping is $14 in the US,  international shipping charges depend on country location and an additional $20 handling fee will always apply because I need to wait on a line, fill out customs forms, etc and I do not work for free.  Payment is due within 48 hours from close of auction sale, NO EXCEPTIONS.  I don't mind doing international shipping but please do not haggle with me about the shipping costs and the handling fee, if you don't want to pay that then you shouldn't be buying these type of tennis racquets where those fees will apply.  Thanks!We will accept returns on this item as long as its returned in exact same condition but I think you will be keeping it!
