Here for sale is a very cool vintage Jack Kramer racket.  I love to hit with a wood racket to work on form and give my arm a nice shock absorber.  I do not know anyone who plays primarily with a wood racket, but they are worth having for an occasional tournament or while working on one's stroke.

When I first bought two wood rackets I was warned about the risks of putting new string into the racket.  Nevertheless I insisted, and it has worked out great.  The frames were not damaged, which I guess I one of the main concerns, and the string has held up well.   That being said, obviously I can’t guarantee the string.   I am simple stating that the Jack Kramer racket was restrung about two years ago and I have not had any issues.  Having said that, I never really used the rackets.  I wish I could make this claim about a new racket, instead of a vintage racket that has played many points and hit many balls.   It is reassuring that the rackets were able to take a new string job and played well after the new string was installed.  Does this actually make a statement about the racket?  I was told it signified that the racket maintained a solid constitution.  I would ask your own tennis pro as to the validity of those claims and whether the rackets playability following restringing the stick makes any quantifiable statement about the racket.  I just do not know.  The only person who expressed concern about the restringing was the local tennis pro. I do think it’s worth noting that the racket has new strings, even though they are not guaranteed. I do not put value on the strings installed on any or my rackets when pricing them, but occasionally it is worth mentioning,
Racket has some light (in my opinion) normal marks around the frame from play, pictured all around.
"ENDORSED BY JACK KRAMER FOR CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY"LIGHT 4 5/8 GRIP Just above the grip it states: "Speed Flex Fibre Face."  I do not know what that means, but I must admit it rolls nicely off the tongue and one could only imagine the fear an opponent would face upon hearing those four words on change over. Ok, that's a it silly.  I shall google what that means and try to update this item detail information.  One issue when buying a vintage racket is the
