Fans of the previous version of the KZen Team will find a familiar response from the stringbed. The feel from the stringbed is crisp and predictable. Our TW playtesters found a steady decrease in power as shots moved away from the sweetspot with no hot spots or dead zones to worry about. At net the racquet offers a lightning fast feel on reaction volleys. There's enough liveliness from the stringbed to get the ball away, and the open string pattern offers lots of grip on the ball for hitting with both topspin and slice. Players looking for more power and court penetration will find ample room for weight customization due to the racquet's light weight. A solid choice for players at the 4.0+ level looking to maximize maneuverability and spin.
