This is a used tennis racquet with normal wear from play.  Racquet is structurally and functionally in good condition.   The extremely rare, stiffer version of the legendary Max 200g – the frame of John McEnroe and Steffi Graf!  Introduced for 1986, and sold in very small numbers, the Max 300i featured the same mold as the Max 200g, but added a substance called Noryl GTX into its graphite-nylon blend, for added stiffness, using the same novel injection molding process, proprietary to Dunlop at their English factory.   This specimen is in great overall used condition.  It has no structural damage or issues, and shows no warpage that often befalls the Max 200g when it’s strung too tightly.  There is slight, shallow scratches on the tip of the head (it’s a bumperless design), and a new Dunlop Tour Classic top-grain leather grip has been fitted.  Grip size is 4-3/8”.  There is fading of the graphics (again, a typical Max 200g and 300i issue), but the original full-length cover is included.  This is a fun, and unique hit.  It’s like the Max 200g, only slightly stiffer.  Ball control, a strong point of the Max 200g, is actually improved by the slight uptick in stiffness, and there’s no discernable loss in touch.  It’s a pity that Dunlop couldn’t keep making these!   Priority Mail shipping to continental USA is $12.00.  Please take a look at my other auctions for more interesting classic tennis gear
