This is a used tennis racquet with normal blemishes and marks from use, including paint scratches and chips, and wear on the grip.  No cracks or structural issues.   Technically very intriguing high-performance midplus racquet from Fischer.  Made in Austria, 98 square inch hitting surface, 16x20 stringing pattern.  Unique grommetless design, featuring ski base material core and bumper “skid” within the carbon fiber-silicon carbide composite layup shell.  Plays stiff, similar to a Yamaha Secret 04, but with a more arm-friendly character and excellent ball feel.    This specimen dates from 1990 production, and is in good overall used condition, showing numerous small paint chips (endemic to Fischer racquets of the 1990’s).  The original synthetic grip (size 4-3/8”) has disintegrated, and is covered with an overgrip.  The strings are old, and for best results, the racquet should be restrung.   Still hits good, though, and a surprisingly relevant frame for modern styles of power and spin play, arguably with better feel than anything currently produced in the tennis market.  No cracks or structural issues.  Plenty of wear left in the Vestoran bumper surface.  The correct and original full-length cover is included.  Eye protection, for the cover’s eye-popping early 90’s neon colors not included.
