Beautiful Vintage Bright Wood 1910 E Kent UNIVERSITY Tennis Racket Intact Original StringsCrisp, clean … amazing condition. Looks like it was hardly used. Antique old early wood wooden racquet from the Boston Providence areaNOTE: Part of a group of rackets I just found. I will list one racket a day between October 21 and October 30. Will combine items for reduced postage for multiple purchases.MODEL: 1910 E Kent UNIVERSITY made in Pawtucket, R.I., U.S.AHEAD: Classic period elongated oval with flat top; stock is square at the shoulders and very slightly chamfered as it goes around the top of head WARPING: noneFRAME: excellent solid condition; bright crisp original finish on the shaft and around the head.THROAT WEDGE: 1905 patent 5-piece convex laminated wedge in the style of the period; note the unusual extensions of applied lamination on the inside of the shouldersSTRINGS: Fabulous: looks like original lamb gut in tan or mustard color; no breaks; no wear… completely intactBANDING: none; pre-dates banding materialsDECALS: As shown; excellentGRIP: 4 7/8 inches; never had grip materialSTAMPS: noneWEIGHT: weighs 14.3 ounces actual weightEND CAP: leather strip intact with minimal roughness as shown in the photo; end cap as shown Postage will be based on 3.5 pounds of packed weight.
