Hyper 150g Racquetball Central The first thing you notice about the Hyper 150g is it's incredible quickness. You can really get this racquet around likety-split. I'm not very fast off returning a good drive serve...but this is the first racquet that I can hit a lunging backhand off an excellent drive serve and not only get the racquet there but make an powerful and accurate return. The T22 is a great racquet...but I could at best only go to the ceiling on similar returns because of the greater weight (210gm vs 170gm...strung weights).  The second thing you'll notice about the Hyper 150 is that it is a SOLID racquet. This is still puzzling me...how such a light racquet can be so solid. Must be something other than "hype" in that Hyper Carbon...I can't see that feeling coming from an enhanced design. This racquet is the most solid racquet I've ever hit with...and so is the Hyper Air Hammer from what I remember (still waiting to try this one again). From soft touch shots to aggressive passes and kills...solid and forgiving on off-center hits. The Hyper 150 has excellent balance and you hardly feel it as you're moving around the court.  The third thing is POWER...how this little racquet gives me more power than I get from the heavier T22 is beyond me...but it does. And it's not just from racquet speed...you'd imagine that you could swing a lighter racquet faster and make up for the mass to generate comparable amounts of power...this is partially true as I feel I can get the racquet around my swing faster. But I don't think this would be enough to compensate for the quickness (I'd say lightness...but it really doesn't FEEL light...it's just quick!) of the racquet. Also, while it is definitely head-heavy...it doesn't feel TOO head-heavy like some of the other racquets out there like the PKs, Bedlam, and new Head Ti175 Fire.  The fourth thing (but not least) you'll notice is the CONTROL. The control is phenomenal...especially under connditions where you don't have much time to shoot...I'm hitting shots from all over the place with great accuracy. It's bewildering...cause I know I'm not any better a player than I was a year ago...probably worse! Could be that you just get better control from a lighter racquet but lose power and that solid feeling...with this racquet you don't lose anything...everything is a plus compared to last years racquets.  One more thing you'll notice is...you get use to this racquet almost immediately. There's nothing special about it...nothing weird to get used to...it's just a plain looking racquet, well with some fluroescent yellow cosmetics but I'm getting pretty racy these days ;-) One last observation which I don't know what to make of yet...maybe somebody can help me here. There are 19 cross strings in the Hyper 150 compared to 21 cross strings in the T22. The bottom cross string is about an inch higher than the bottom one in the T22 and in the sweet spot area there are 5 crosses compared to 6 in the T22...so basically it's got a more expanded string bed in the sweet spot area. My thinking says that you lose control with less string area touching the ball...but gain power I suppose. Yet the control is better than with the T22...well, just an observation.  Thanks
