For your consideration: Up for auction we have a really nice vintage Wilson Ceramic Midsize tennis racquet. The basic racquet measurements are as follows: Total Length: 27 inches Total Inside Head Length: 12 inches Total Inside Head Width: 8 3/4 inches Grip Size: 4 3/8 L3 inches Racquet Weight: 12.8 ounces The Wilson Ceramic Midsize came out in the mid/late 80's...part of the ceramic composite boom of racquets from that era. The idea behind ceramic composite racquets was that ceramic fibers offered great strength and power, but a softer shock feel on the arm and wrist of players. Wilson took their basic Pro Staff frame design of the era and made this ceramic version, which was a fairly popular racquet...as it was a great frame design, no matter what material it was made out of. At 12.8 ounces, this racquet does feel it's weight, but has a really nice, very balanced feel, and does offer very very good power.
This is a low key, but still dynamic looking racquet as well! This racquet is used, but is in really excellent condition, showing just very very light signs of use or wear.
