I have a Wright and Ditson Championship Lawn Tennis Ball Box that dates somewhere between 1914 - 1926 and it contains a dozen vintage balls.  8 of the balls are original Wright and Ditson balls that were part of this box.  There is one Wilson Championship ball that has purple lettering.  I believe the lettering may have been blue originally and it has faded but I'm not certain.  There are 3 more balls of the same type but I can't make out the maker.  I believe they could be Macgregor.  I was lucky enough to purchase this box of balls that were saved by a lovely older couple whose father was a greens keeper at a Florida resort for many many years.  He saved two cans of unopened balls and this box of 12 Wright and Ditson tennis balls.  The other items are posted for sale as well.For a box closing in on 100 years old, it's amazing that it's still intact.  The box is in poor condition but it hasn't fallen apart.  Please see photos for more information.I'll ship the box and balls free and insured to the lucky buyer.Thanks for looking!
