Have you ever posted an item for sale and you just weren't sure about how much to sell it for because you're afraid you may sell it too cheap?  Well - I'm having the same problem with this item.  I've searched far and wide and have found only a couple of examples of this tennis ball that had sold but have no clue what they were sold for.  What I have here is an unopened can of tennis balls from the Pennsylvania Rubber Company dating to the 1930's.  This company now goes by Penn.  Think we've all heard of them...  I was lucky enough to purchase the only two cans saved by a lovely older couple whose father was a greenskeeper at a Florida resort for many many years.  He saved two cans of these and a box of 12 Wright and Ditson tennis balls.  I'll post this item for sale as well.  I found the ad in the pictures online and it's from 1934 and shows this exact can of balls.  From what I can tell, this can was used during the 30's.  There are a few 1940's cans on ebay selling for a lot of money and one has been opened.  I'll ship the can free and insured to the lucky buyer. Thanks for looking!
