This is a used tennis racquet with paint and/or finish imperfections and wear from normal play. Racquet is structurally and functionally in good condition. Very nice Snauwaert Graphite Pro, dating from 1985. This is a beautiful Graphite – Fiberglass composite with wood inner element for superlative vibration dampening, a special Snauwaert feature and a throwback to their history as the finest tennis racquet maker in Belgium. This model was the most flexible in the lineup of four frames made out of this mold by Snauwaert in the mid-1980’s, and is very evocative of the Rossignol F200 in flex, balance, feel, and response. The Graphite Pro is also known as the last model of tennis racquet used on the pro tour by Vitas Gerulaitis, before his untimely death. Some specimens of the model have the Gerulaitis autograph on the throat; some do not. This is one of the latter, without autograph. This particular specimen is in very good overall condition, showing some light “head rash” from use on a hard court in California, but no significant wear or any structural issues or cracks. Original top-grain leather grip (size 4-1/2”) still has great tack and feel. Old string job currently in it appears to be natural gut. Original head cover, in excellent condition, is included! Priority Mail shipping to continental USA is $12.00; shipping cost to locations outside the USA depends on destination – please see shipping cost estimator above. Please take a look at my other auctions for more interesting classic tennis gear - Buyers of multiple tennis racquets from my auctions can benefit from combined shipping cost savings.
