Second Serve Tennis presents a very nice Head Flexpoint Radical in the much sought after mid-plus model, 98 square inches, 4 1/4" grip. Racquet is used, brand new Wilson over grip installed overall cosmetic condition is 6+/10 scale, probably better actually, no structural issues at all, grommets very good, bumper guard should be replaced soon or just use scrape tape. New bumper and grommet set is about $7. Fantastic players racquet 16g poly strings are fresh, just some very minor surface abrasions and a few small paint chips but if you care about that I don't know what to tell you, overall appearance is still good. MADE IN AUSTRIA. 4 1/4" grip.A little extra reading material.....Can you get more from a racquet by taking something out? HEAD seems to think so with its latest line of Radical racquets. Called Flexpoint, the latest technology from HEAD features a "precisely engineered hole" at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions on the racquet head. Accompanying each hole is a dimple in the frame which reduces beam width by up to 25% (depth of the dimple varies depending on the beam width of the racquet model). Both the hole and the dimple are designed to make the racquet more flexible in the upper hoop. The theory being, that by having the racquet flex at the 3 & 9 positions, the racquet will cup the ball. While a traditional racquet flexes from the tip down through the shaft, a Flexpoint racquet is designed to increase flex in the hoop. HEAD states that this increased flex and cupping of the ball results in a longer dwell time (duration of time the ball is in contact with the racquet) allowing the player greater control and more feel. HEAD also claims that the Flexpoint racquets result in more accurate hitting due to the cupping effect of the racquet. Few racquets are stiff enough to return to their original state before the ball leaves the strings, resulting in the racquet still being flexed and the ball coming off at a slight angle. HEAD claims that the sectionally flexible Flexpoint racquets significantly reduce the angle at which the ball leaves the strings, resulting in a more accurate hit.

And...please checkout our other tennis listings while you are here!!Shipping is $14 in the US, international shipping charges depend on country location and an additional $20 handling fee will always apply because I need to wait on a line, fill out customs forms, etc and I do not work for free. Payment is due within 48 hours from close of auction sale, NO EXCEPTIONS. I don't mind doing international shipping but please do not haggle with me about the shipping costs and the handling fee, if you don't want to pay that then you shouldn't be buying these type of tennis racquets where those fees will apply. Thanks! Please be considerate and serious with your bidding intentions, sorry I have to mention this but lately this has happened too many times. We are a small tennis shop and it hurts us to have to deal with these amateur incidents. Thanks again for your consideration. :)Please checkout our other tennis auctions and our feedback from other happy customers here on eBay.
