This is a used tennis racquet with paint and/or finish imperfections and wear from normal play. Racquet is structurally and functionally in good condition. Dating from 1999-2001, the Yonex Super RQ-500 Long was known as the racquet of Anna Kournakova, but also a terrific power-oriented players frame. Particularly noteworthy are the braided high-modulus graphite construction (higher-grades of Toray graphite such as this is no longer used in the tennis industry, having become too expensive after military use has driven up the material cost), and Japanese (not Taiwan, China, or Southeast Asian) construction—and quality. This specimen has been lightly used and is in very good condition, showing light “head rash” wear from hardcourt play in California. Beautiful paint and clearcoat over the braided graphite layup beneath – a very striking (no pun intended) tennis racquet! Grip size is 4-1/4”; it has been recently regripped. Stringing appears to be in good condition. No cover included, sorry.
