This auction is for the >>> Wilson Prostaff Classic 85 racket (ps85) stealth "all blacked out"Greetings Edberg tennis racket collectors.I have decided to make three famous rackets that are part of the famous Stephen Edberg racket history available to Ebay bidders including:Wilson Prostaff Classic 85 racket (ps85) - Standard Wilson Prostaff 95 racket without cosmetics and in a 85 head size (not square beam like ps85)Wilson Prostaff Classic Paintjob 85 racket (classic85) - Famous Sampras like racket that has the Wilson Class paintjob that Edberg endorsedWilson Prostaff 85 prostock racket (ps85) - Base Wilson prostaff 85 like Sampras racket that was Edberg stock base for ths auction is for the >>> Wilson Prostaff Classic 85 racket (ps85)e paintjobSpecs for three (3) Edberg prostock rackets:ps85 paintjob 12.5 oz 8 pts HL 12.5 bal pt from butt85 classic black 12.3 oz 8 pts HL 12.5 bal pt from buttps85 prostock 12.5 oz 8 pts HL 12.5 bal pt from buttThese three Edberg rackets are for sale in three Ebay auctions, see my auctions.Edberg is known for playing/endorsing the Wilson Prostaff Classic 95 racket (ps95) with the red and yellow cosmetics.The actual racket that Stephen played was a version of the Prostaff 85 (ps85) that was a paintjob of the Prostaff Classic 95 with similar red and yellow cosmetics.The ps85 was actually a different racket mold using a more solid square beamed construction.The ps95 was more of a modern airshell mold that is now famous for many modern rackets like the Babolats.Many players and collectors seek the solid older ps85 for its renown playing power and touch.The Edberg classic ps85 paint job rackets are very rare and quite impressive displays for the actual Edberg weapon that was similar to the Sampras and Currier sticks.The classic 85 is extremely rare since there were only a few produced by Wilson as trials for Stephen since he preferred the 85 racket head size.Stephen decided not to play the classic 85 so there were never any more produced thus a very scarce piece of tennis history.
