◄█ Vintage HEAD TX PROFESSIONAL also known as the TXP and TX PRO in original, near-flawless condition. This is the first of the HEAD PRO Series Professional-Grade racquets sold in the USA and is the same mold/layup as the European Prestige Pro (identical to the TXP), Prestige 600, and Classic 600. It was introduced as HEAD's flagship racquet in 1986 and was manufactured in Colorado until 1988. This frame is a composite that features a Graphite Tube construction that is reinforced with Fiberglass and Twaron (very similar to Kevlar) for a firm flex. It is highly maneuverable and has tremendous feel - truly a player's racquet.This frame has beautiful, glossy white paint with red & gray pinstripes as well as black hashmarks. The plastic bumper/scuff guard (C.A.P. System) protects the entire head - not just the nose. This 27" racquet has a 89.5 Square Inch head and weighs 12.4 Ounces (350 grams) as it sits and the actual balance point (strung) is 12-5/8" (7 points head-light) which helps explain why it is so maneuverable. String pattern is 18 Mains by 20 Crosses with a recommended tension of 55-70 lbs.ACTUAL ITEM PICTURED - please let me know if you want/need additional photos.
