Prince Turbo Shark MidPlus tennis racquet. Desirable 4 3/8 grip. Racquet is in 7/10 condition. Awarded TENNIS Magazine's Editor's Choice (September, 2004). Has very light court rash on the tip. Mainly small paint chips scattered around the edges of the head with just a little court rash. See pictures. Head guard is in very good shape. No cracks or structural issues. There is no grip. I’ll leave that up to the buyer to add their favorite one. Unstrung. Grommets are in like new shape. This is marked as a Demo frame, but it is in very good shape. Includes a Prince racquet cover. With good stability and an easily controllable power level, the Shark Midplus is a surprisingly suitable alternative for those who usually hit with a player's racquet. The open string pattern offers easy access to both topspin and slice and the Sweet Spot Expansion grommet system does a good job of making the Shark a very comfortable racquet. The wide beam width in the throat of the racquet provides a large sweetspot, which resides low in the hoop, extending to the middle of the stringbed. At net the racquet feels maneuverable and well balanced for solid volleying. There's plenty of pop to be had on serve and we found this a great racquet for hitting kick serves. Best suited to 3.5-5.0 level players. I played this frame for several years and it’s a great frame for players with longer strokes who need a little bit of extra power while not sacrificing control. This would make a great backup frame if you still play this model or a nice addition to your racquet collection if you want to try one of Prince’s best frames.
