Ever wonder who designed the first women’s bra? I’m guessing it was a man – one who didn’t really understand what it’s like be wrapped in stiff, rough material that chafe’s your underarms, pulls on your shoulders and “supports” you in the wrong places. Most of them just don’t fit well.
You know, sometimes it can feel that way with a pickleball paddle. Don’t get me wrong, there are many great paddles on the market, but what typically rolls out of production from the well-known paddle companies is a product with masculine inspired graphics, a grip that’s too large and a swing weight that requires Wonder Woman powers. Or the other scenario; they take a masculine paddle, add a little pink to it and call it good.
To date – not one manufacturer has made a paddle – from the ground up – that is designed specifically for women – with input from women.
