Category: Fine Racquets
Class:
Description Brand: Dunlop Country/Region of Manufacture: United Kingdom Model: Dunlop Max 200G Pro Grip Size: 4 1/2”
Second Serve Tennis presents a really nice Dunlop MAX 200G Pro in 4 1/2" grip. This racquet is in 9/10 scale cosmetic condition, 100% structurally solid, gamma synthetic gut strings and a fresh new Wilson over grip has been installed. The full cover carrying bag is also included which makes an excellent collectible piece if you are wanting a piece of history, this was the last racquet Steffi Graf used when she was still contracted with Dunlop before moving over to Wilson and a slightly lighter frame with a larger head.Does this racquet really need any further introduction? Clearly, without question it has a loyal cult following and is one of the most consistently sought after racquets in the collectible market and also for players who can handle the heft, unique playing experience especially if you have the game and quite frankly to play with what is truly a legendary tennis racquet, having been used by John McEnroe and Steffi Graf. Made in England with the injection molding process, solid as a rock, not like the air shells of today's racquets. Here are the specifications:Weight: 12.5 ounces/355.4g, Balance: 8 points (1 inch) Head-light, Flex (RDC): 40, Swing weight: 337, Length: 27 inches.Even though the flex is low, it has what is called "dynamic stiffness". The head is flexible and the throat is stiff so on ball impact the racquet has an almost slingshot response, it outstanding at absorbing shock, blocking and punch volleys there is nothing better (John McEnroe). I could go on and on but if you reading this you probably already know there is an encyclopedia of intel on the internet about this racquet, probably more than any other I am aware of because of it's uniqueness and connection to two legendary tennis players, one a finesse serve and volleyer and the other a power baseliner. We are happy to answer any further questions of course on this frame. I have played it many times over the course of my 30+ years of playing tennis and I can honestly say there is nothing like it and there never will be. If you have full strokes, hit the ball flat or like to come forward to the net, this racquet is a dream. Do not string higher than 55 lbs and its also a cannon with ample plowing power through the ball. Please ask any questions! Shipping is $14 in the US, international shipping charges depend on country location and an additional $20 handling fee will always apply because I need to wait on a line, fill out customs forms, etc and I do not work for free. Payment is due within 48 hours from close of auction sale, NO EXCEPTIONS. I don't mind doing international shipping but please do not haggle with me about the shipping costs and the handling fee, if you don't want to pay that then you shouldn't be buying these type of tennis racquets where those fees will apply. Thanks! Please be considerate and serious with your bidding intentions, sorry I have to mention this but lately this has happened too many times. We are a small tennis shop and it hurts us to have to deal with these amateur incidents. Thanks again for your consideration. :)Please checkout our other tennis auctions and our feedback from other happy customers here on eBay. We are "tennis professionals" selling on eBay since the late 1990's.
