Black Code is Tecnifibre's original "shaped" poly string, with a pentagonal (5-sided) shape, with helps with 2 things: a more aggressive profile for added spin, and flat sides laying against each other for improved durability. 16 gauge, 1.28mm diameter is a little thicker for longer life, as well.
