NEW STRINGS For auction is a Dunlop 1000G I.C.E. oversize tennis racket with new strings in excellent + / near mint condition. Dunlop's most powerful racquet. MSRP $249. A very nice game improvement racket. 4 1/4"

REVIEW: The 1000G incorporates Dunlop's Internally Cooled Engineering where the racket is rapidly cooled by the use of cool air being blown around the frame on both the inside and outside of the hoop. This helps to form a powerful crystalline fusion of resin and carbon fiber. The huge head, head-heavy balance, and extra length deliver power, as expected. Seniors and players with abbreviated strokes will find that the stick adds pop to their ground strokes and volleys without costing them much control. But those who have arm problems might be put off by the fact that despite a vibration-dampening technology in the handle. Beginners, meanwhile, will appreciate that the 1000g I.C.E. does much of the work for them, though they should be advised that it won’t encourage them to develop longer strokes. This frame was outstanding on serves, enabling players to hit with more spin and pace than they ordinarily could, thanks in particular to the extra length and big head. Maneuverability was fair, though not good enough for quick exchanges at net. If, on the other hand, you have time to prepare for your shots, the 1000g I.C.E. packs a punch. This racket is for the player with a moderate stroke speed and length that wants exceptional power with superb touch and feel. Features unique to the 1000G are the recessed throat bridge that provides a nice soft ball pocket. Soft rubber finishes on the sides for enhanced player comfort, and a thermoplastic vibration dampening system above the handle which absorbs vibration and helps protect the arm from tennis elbow. CONDITION: NEW STRINGS. Bumperguard has light scrapes and scratches. Sides in excellent / near mint condition. See pics. Only flaw is some very minor, superficial wear to I.C.E. graphics, last pic. Overall in excellent / near mint condition. 4 1/4" grip size. New Gamma synthetic gut strings. Grip in great shape.
