Offered is this vintage wooden tennis racket, marked "Champion" and "Championship". I am assuming it is a "Championship" model, made by Champion, but I don't know that for sure as there have been many brands of rackets called similar names. It looks like it dates to the 1920s or 1930s, maybe even earlier. I measure the grip size to be 4 3/4".  The handle has no leather wrapping; not sure if it ever did.Most of the racket is in good condition for its age, but the handle end is damaged (see last photo) and some of the strings are damaged.  Much of the varnish remains but as you can see from the photos there are many areas of scuffing, missing varnish, etc.
