Fantastic tennis racket in excellent condition. Only a few scuff marks on bumper guard and a long scratch on side of frame. Otherwise, no chips, cracks, dents, etc. Main string is Technifibre NRG2 and cross string is synthetic gut at 56 pounds. This racket is incredibly comfortable, stable, powerful and spin-producing. It is based on the legendary Volkl V1 and improved it with a new Organix material. This racket is wonderful for both recreation and tournament players. It is forgiving with superior shock dampening, excellent power with unbelievable plow-through, and creates substantive spin - topspin and underspin. As my tennis game improved over the years, I have found heavier rackets to offer more control and power. This racket's 11.3 ounces of unstrung weight enables me hit the ball with tremendous force and control from all angles.I suffered from tennis elbow for years and always had to hold back for fear of aggravating it. But with this racket, I could hit very hard groundstrokes and backcourt volleys without any discomfort. The Volkl line of rackets have always enjoyed a reputation for comfort and stability. This is one of their most comfortable ones. In every way, this is one of the best designed and engineered rackets ever by the German firm, Volkl. No cover, just racket with strings.
