RARE VTG 1970s Arthur Ashe Tennis Shoes Sneakers w/ Original Box SZ 11 AMF HEAD. Very good condition. I do not know if these are deadstock but they do not appear to have ever been worn. The red leather Head logo on tongue and the red leather Arthur Ashe logo on rear of shoes is starting to flake ( please see pics). I do not know if it can be preserved. The original vintage box is included and is in fair condition ( please see pics). Overall this is a great pair of vintage 1970's tennis shoes/court shoes in very good condition. These great shoes are from the 1970's and were a collaboration with Arthur Ashe and AMF Head Co. I believe these were his first sneaker design/collaboration prior to Adidas and before he paired with Le Coq Sportif. They are done in a soft ivory color suede type material and done in the classic 1970's court shoe style. The size on both box and shoe is size 11. My last picture is a picture I found online of Arthur Ashe wearing similar shoes. The picture is NOT included, I just thought it would be fun to show a photo of him wearing the similar shoes.
