Play with a new classic wood racquet! Never used, never strung, unwarped. 4 1/2 grip size. Made in JapanI play with the same racquet to work on my fundamentals so I can describe the racquet's characteristics - simply put, it's a stable and powerful frame with a bigger sweet spot than most woodies. I'd attribute it to the bamboo layer around the head; it seems responsible for a firm yet flexible reflex that helps make each shot a predictably controlled and powerful one. The top of the head is a bit more flexible, like a Maxply Fort, which helps with touch shots and serves, imo. It's also fast through the air due to the thin throat and generates a lot of speed at impact. This model requires very little effort to play and I feel confident hitting against many hard hitters wielding a modern frame. I always get compliments on how well I hit with this, something that I don't hear when I'm hitting with Jack Kramer Pro Staff or Chris Evert woods. By the way, it's really easy on the arm and shoulder as well. Give it a go!
