New, plastic on handle, Wilson BLX Two tennis racket in an oversize 110 square inch head. This racket has white, charcoal, and copper graphics. Original selling price $229. It is balanced at 39 cm for a 13 pt head heavy rating on a variable beam width of 25/27.5/26.5. The slightly narrower throat bridge enhances the feel and provides a more comfortable hit.
The BLX Two utilizes Wilson's BLX technology which incorporates fibers of basalt, a natural volcanic rock, longitudinally into the Karophite Black. According to Wilson, the result is a significant reduction in vibrations in the racquet.The BLX Two is a powerful 72 stiffness on my Babolat RDC which places it in the stiffest 3% of rackets that Wilson makes. A stiffness of 72 should deliver all the power you need for a big serve and deep groundstrokes. I would recommend this racket for players with slow to medium swing speeds who want an effortless big serve and punishing groundstrokes.Recommended string tension is 50 to 60 lbs on this 16X20 string pattern where I recommend going down 4 lbs in the cross strings to equalize string pressure throughout the frame.
