I was intrigued by this Durbin racket the first time I saw it. So I went to my favorite racket reference; Siegfried Kuebler, 2000. Book of Tennis Rackets: GmbH. On p. 150, Kuebler explains that the Princeton Sports Products Co. obtained a patent in 1978 to produce the first Durbin rackets, which did not have a model name. Later in the 1980's Durbin rackets with model names such as Composite, Graphite, etc. appeared. So, the racket I am selling is one of the first Durbins because, even though the Patent No. is shown, there is no model name. The orange color of the racket and the cover hints of Halloween, but I am sure you can use it any time of the year. Other than a little bit of head rash, this racket is gorgeous. The cover is very clean and the zippers work well. Please check out the photos. Fast and Free Shipping!
