George G. Bussey “The Tournament 2” Lawn Tennis Racket c.1925A fine and rare example of a ball tail lawn tennis racket by George G. Bussey & Company, one of the premier racket-makers of their day. In 1887 George Bussey was known as the largest manufacturer of athletic goods in London. Light ash frame with Bussey’s concave wave wedge. The wedge is embossed with gilt ‘The Tournament 3’ with the Bussey logo ‘GGB & Co.
