Like its predecessor this stick comes with an aerodynamic Velocity Shaft Design and a maneuverable 11.3 ounce weight. Taken together these features give the TFlash 300 an explosive feel. Factor in the firm beam (71 RA) and you have a lively racquet that will give a wide range of intermediate and advanced players the tools to generate pace and spin. New to this version is Dynacore, a unique substance that adds some welcomed flexibility and stability to this stiff (and powerful) racquet. Two impressive add-ons are the reinforced bumper material in high wear parts of the upper hoop (Armor Cap) along with stronger tie-off grommets (EZ Lock Eyelets). These features should definitely increase the longevity of the frame. Thanks to a slightly higher swingweight than its predecessor, this version of the TFlash 300 feels beefier and more substantial on ground strokes. As a result our playtesters not only found it more comfortable and stable, but they also found it easier to drive the ball through the court. The added heft translated into easier power and heavier spin (a lethal combination in the right hands). At net the TFlash 300 draws a nice compromise between speed and stability, and there’s definitely some pop available for those who like hitting volleys with sting. All in all Tecnifibre has delivered a fine update to one of their great modern player’s racquets. With a nice boost in power, comfort and stability, this one is a must demo for aggressive baseliners looking to turn up the heat.
