Very nice Vintage Tennis racquet from the 1930's. It is called "THE SPECIAL" All the Gut strings are intact in spite of being over 70 years old. It has been kept in a wooden press, thus the frame is totally straight. It has a nice and well kept leather grip. Has scratches on top of the head.Will make a nice vintage piece for a racquet collector, Tennis Pro-shop or other retail stores wishing to display these type of wooden tennis racquets. On one side of the throat is written "A.W. GAMAGE, HOLBORN. On the handle butt it is written "When not in use, please keep in a press.(if you would like to buy a wooden press for these type of racquets, please visit my Ebay store.Questions are welcome.Payment method: PAYPAL ONLY.Shipping to USA.customers is $8.50.
