The HEAD Metallix 170 Racquet is designed to be a powerhouse! HEAD's Metallix technology combines a matrix of carbon fibers with a crystalline metal alloy 1,000 times smaller than a conventional metal structure; this added stiffness allows for maximum power and prevents energy loss from ball impact. Two precisely engineered holes, called Flexpoint PWR, are strategically positioned in the center of the racquet's sweetspot creating a "cupping" effect which adds even more power potential. With a 5 point head-heavy balance and 157 swingweight, the HEAD Metallix 170 generates consistent power in the hands of a fast swinger, but will also easily accommodate players with a slow to moderate swing.Recently bought. I replaced its original strings with 17g megablast (~ $15.00); Play a few times with. Could not replace my Head Great White 167g trying to go up on weight; Racquet bag included (it was free from RW); Great racquet / unbreakable; It sells now @ RW for $75, but with original strings
