Presented is a great old vintage set of badminton. The set includes two wood rackets by A.J. Spalding. See photos for markings of "Wisp" and "1876". The racket with the brown handle appears older, and has some chipped paint. However, all the strings are intact and the leather handle is in beautiful shape. The blue racket is also in great shape with the handle also in excellent condition. I cannot tell if the blue racket has been restrung on the top and the bottom, or if the original stringing just included the darker strings. I saw similar racket on eBay so I am thinking the stringing is original. Each racket is 26" long. Also included is the wood stretcher holder designed to hold two rackets. The back has wing nuts for tightening. Seven birdies/shuttlecocks are included as well as a tennis ball tube can. One of the birdies is split and another is partially split. Another is folded, and overall has the vintage wear of many great games. The tennis tube can has some great graphics just on it's own.
