With this update to the Extreme MP, Head gives intermediate and advanced players a lively spin monster with a very precise delivery. New to this version is Head's Adaptive String Pattern which enables the player to switch between an open 16x19 string pattern and an ultra grippy 16x16 one. Head also updates the layup with Graphene XT which allows for an even more optimal distribution of weight along with easier access to power. From the baseline this stick feels crisp and accurate. Our playtesters were impressed by how rapidly the Extreme accelerated through the strike zone. Aggressive topspin players should find it easy to crank up the swing speed and hit a powerful, spin loaded ball. At net the speedy feel makes this stick ideal for fast exchanges, and there's more than enough put-away power for aggressive doubles players. Finally, the combination of spin and pop makes this racquet a true weapon on serves.
