Wilson Steam 99LS 4 ¼ grip This was the first Steam “LS” racquets I purchased. I have tried them all and liked the 99LS so much I bought a bunch of them before they ran out of them. I know many of my fellow Steam players did not like Wilson’s replacement of this racquet with the Burn. If you are one of those who loved this racquet, here is a chance to get one in great shape. This racquet allows you to generate an extreme amount of spin without even changing your swing. The slightly lighter racquet weight makes this racquet really nimble and quick around the net. At the baseline this racquet excels when you swing through your shot. The extreme open string pattern allows for excessive amounts of spin and slice. The ability to get the ball quickly up and down is phenomenal. I found myself hitting angles and catching lines I never could have before. As with the rest of my racquets I am selling, this has not seen a lot of use and if you look at the pictures you can clearly see the great shape of the racquet. This racquet was used for a couple of months now. I just restrung this particular racquet with Wilson Sensation @57lbs. I don’t think the strings have been hit with at all. Please review the pictures to see how nice this racquet is and then search the internet, you won’t find anything nearly as nice and cheap as this offering. Over the last couple of years I have purchased a number of new racquets to try out and test to find just the right racquet for my style of play. I occasionally sell some of my racquets. Most have only an hour or so of hitting on them, some a little more. Great deal for someone!
